Purpose: To support the effective operation of the school through the provision of information to prospective students, parents & educational partners, and efficient registration and invoicing.

Duties and responsibilities
To be the first point of contact for all enquiries made by telephone, e-mail, via the website or in person.
To provide accurate information on the school's courses and accommodation to prospective students, parents and educational partners.
To create and maintain positive relationships with educational partners.
To manage the admission of international students onto year round or summer programmes through efficient registration and invoicing.
To send confirmation documents, joining instructions, accommodation details and invoices to those booking courses.
To ensure the timely issuing of visitor visas letters and offers to applicants.
To ensure that admission processes are consistent with college and Home Office regulations.
To support the sourcing and registering of new host families: visiting prospective homestays and completing appropriate paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
To efficiently and accurately share information with stakeholders.
To take payments and paying suppliers.
To carry out digital marketing activities.
To order stationery.
Any other duties as required by the executive manager.
Person Specification
Qualifications:
Educated to at least A-level equivalent. Degree an advantage but not essential.
Knowledge of a second language is an advantage but is not essential.
Skills and Competencies required
Significant previous administrative experience, with experience in education sector desirable.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint etc and experience of multi user databases.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Ability to work accurately and calmly under pressure.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience of delivering excellent customer service. High degree of flexibility to respond to highly fluid and open-ended tasks.
Ability to plan and prioritise workload.
Methodical approach to tasks with excellent attention to detail.
Understanding of social media.
Conditions of Service
Contract: Temporary, 6 months, 2nd February - 31st July 2026
Salary: 26,500 pro rata
Hours of work: 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be based front of house, and is expected to carry out reception duties. They will also be expected to work outside normal hours during busy periods.
Location: The role is based in Cambridge. In person.
