Job title: Adobe Digital Asset Manager

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Adobe Digital Asset Manager to lead the strategy, governance, and day-to-day operations of our digital asset management ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets and other leading DAM platforms such as Bynder, Widen Collective, MediaBeacon, and OpenText Media Management. This is a futuristic role.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of digital assets using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets, including uploading, organizing, tagging, archiving, and rights management. Oversee integration and interoperability between AEM and other DAM platforms such as Bynder, Widen Collective, MediaBeacon, Canto, and OpenText Media Management. Develop and maintain metadata schemas, folder structures, and taxonomy in AEM Metadata Schema to ensure efficient asset retrieval and governance. Leverage Adobe I/O Runtime and APIs to connect DAM with external systems, CMS platforms, or marketing automation tools. Optimize search functionality using Elasticsearch and Solr to enhance asset discoverability. Apply Digital Rights Management (DRM) protocols and licensing compliance processes to protect digital content. Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud applications, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects for light editing and quality control of digital assets. Support and manage video asset workflows and integrations with Vimeo, Brightcove, and internal distribution systems. Collaborate with creative, marketing, product, and IT teams to ensure assets are aligned with brand standards and campaign needs. Train internal teams on DAM best practices and ensure ongoing governance and adoption across departments. Use Adobe Sensei (AI-powered tagging and automation) to scale asset categorization and discoverability where applicable
Required Skills & Qualifications:

4-7 years of experience managing enterprise-level digital asset management systems. Expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets, including asset ingestion, tagging, workflows, and metadata schemas. Hands-on experience with additional DAM platforms such as Bynder, Widen Collective, MediaBeacon, Canto, and OpenText Media Management. Proficiency in metadata management, taxonomy design, and asset versioning strategies. Familiarity with Adobe I/O Runtime, APIs, and DAM system integrations. Working knowledge of Elasticsearch or Solr for search optimization. Understanding of Digital Rights Management (DRM), licensing, and content governance. Experience with video and rich media assets, including management via Vimeo and Brightcove. Strong collaboration and communication skills with a user-focused mindset. Basic editing experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is a plus. Experience implementing or migrating DAM systems within a large organization. Knowledge of Adobe Sensei or AI/ML tools for automated tagging and smart asset categorization. Familiarity with cloud storage, CDN integrations, and asset delivery optimization strategies. Understanding of accessibility, brand compliance, and legal usage rights in asset distribution.
