Hazardous Waste Service Driver (ADR Licence)

Starting salary 30,000 - 33,000 plus bonuses putting salary to 38,000+

42 working hours typical week with potential overtime and overnight allowance available

Will consider candidates with industrial services or tanker experience

Hazardous Waste Service Rep

, we are looking for someone who wants to develop and grow and work within a strong performing environment.

The role encompasses:

Collection and loading waste onto transport vehicle with the aid of material handling equipment making it safe and suitable for transportation, safely driving company vehicles up to 3.5 Tonne .

Collecting waste from Customer sites and offloading at Waste Transfer stations

. Experience with carriage of dangerous goods

Maintenance of a clean, safe and orderly vehicle reporting any defects that prevents duties being accomplished.

Compliance with EU Drivers Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive and local laws regulating safe driving and the safe and proper handling and loading in the transport of Dangerous Goods

Assisting in promoting growth of business in the region.

Packing ,Sorting and overpacking of waste on customers site

Waste survey of customers sites

.Upselling of services

Hours are typically 7.00-4.30 Monday to Thursday and 7.00- 3.00 Friday

Where you'll work / Experience

Valid UK Drivers licence and ADR driving Licence, and forklift license would be an advantage (training provided if required).

Knowledge of Health and Safety ,Environmental legislation and COSHH would be preferred

Experienced in maintaining and developing relationships with potential and existing customers identifying sales opportunities and leads would be an advantage

Must be personable and be able to talk with customers on sites

Experience within the waste, recycling or industrial services sector is essential

Driving experience essential
