Job Title - ADRClass 1 HGV Trunking Driver
Location - Dash Express Exeter, Hill Barton Depot, EX5 1DR
Reports to - Operations Manager
Pay - 16.50 per hour
Shift pattern - Monday to Friday. 14:30 to finish
Position
Duties & Responsibilities
Safely operate ADR Class 1 HGV vehicle for a trunking route between Exeter and the Midlands.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
Complete scheduled trunking runs on time, maintaining compliance with company procedures.
Communicate effectively with the operations team regarding delays, issues, or route changes.
Maintain accurate delivery and collection records and complete end-of-day debrief.
Ensure vehicle cleanliness and refuelling at the end of each shift.
Adhere to driver hours regulations, tachograph compliance, and all legal requirements.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Valid ADR Class licence and up-to-date CPC qualification.
Previous experience in hazardous materials HGV long-haul driving.
Strong understanding of driver hours regulations and road safety.
Good time management and reliability.
Strong customer service skills and professional communication.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
All of our staff must pass a basic DBS check.

5.6 weeks holiday entitlement including bank holidays, increasing 1 day per years' service up to 5 years.
