Summary

We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious ADR-Qualified Gas Cylinder Delivery Driver to join our distribution team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering LPG gas cylinders to residential and commercial customers across the region. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong awareness of safety, professionalism, and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Safely load and unload gas cylinders onto a 3.5-tonne delivery vehicle at our Birmingham (B7) depot. Deliver 50-80 cylinders per day to homes, restaurants, industrial facilities, and other customers as scheduled. Ensure all deliveries are carried out in accordance with ADR regulations and company safety procedures. Carry out vehicle checks, maintain cleanliness, and report any defects promptly. Obtain customer signatures and maintain accurate delivery records. Handle cylinders in a safe and controlled manner, including using correct manual handling techniques. Represent the company professionally at all customer sites. Work closely with logistics staff to ensure efficient route planning and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

Full, clean UK driving licence. Valid ADR qualification - Class 2 (Gases). Strong awareness of health & safety and hazardous goods handling. Ability to life heavy loads safely Good level of physical fitness due to the manual nature of the role. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Desirable Experience

Previous experience delivering gas cylinders. Experience operating tail lifts, pallet trucks, or manual handling equipment. Customer-facing delivery experience.

Working Hours

Full-time position with start and finish at our Birmingham (B7) depot. Overtime may be available depending on seasonal demand.
