We are Access Your Care, a family-run business in North Somerset. We provide support and care to clients whilst encouraging independence as much as possible. We are looking for new team members to join us working in Clevedon, Portishead, Nailsea and the surrounding villages.

Providing domiciliary care for our clients in their homes, our Adult Care Workers are versatile, compassionate and engaging. We are expanding our team and are extending the invitation to work in this amazing sector to you!

What will you be doing as an Adult Care Worker?



As the role is so varied, we cannot list everything, however the main responsibilities of this role include:

- Assisting clients with personal care.

- Manual handling to assist clients in mobilising.

- Following clients care plans to ensure they receive the best quality of care.

- Administering medication.

- Assisting with food preparation.

- Providing comfort and top customer service that will put a smile on our clients faces.

You don't need to have previous experience or qualifications in the sector to apply, we provide a week long classroom based induction and a shadowing period once you have completed this. All you need is the ability to connect with people and a want to provide support to others.

You will also have a 2 week rota, so you will know what days and times you will be working, giving you a good work-life balance. Weekend working is required for this role, but you will only be expected to work 1 in 2 weekends.

Being a strategic provider for North Somerset Council, you will also be guaranteed your working hours, you can expect to be working the same amount of hours on each 2 week cycle.

Earnings quoted are based on delivering 40 hours of contact time with clients per week and includes basic pay, travel time, mileage, and all bonuses.*
