Adult Support Worker
Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and dedicated team of support workers to help an adult male with brain injury in the Chesterfield area. Support is required for social and vocational activities. In return, we offer a highly competitive hourly rate and ongoing training. This position involves providing support during activities in the evenings ensuring the clients safety and providing support as needed.
The required support worker will be responsible for providing quality support in a caring manner in order to improve the quality of life of the client. Specific training will be provided.
It is desirable that the successful applicant has the following skills and experience:
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
Experience of working with adults with disabilities
Sound understanding of good care principles
Excellent communication skills
Full driving licence
We can offer the following hours:
Friday 17.00 - 22.00
Saturday 11.00 - 21.00
Some flexibility with regard to the hours could be considered
Rates of pay:
15.00 per hour weekdays and 17.00 per hour weekendsClosing date: 31st August 2025
