Be Well Health Care is looking for passionate, committed, and reflective Social Workers to join our dynamic Children's Social Care teams. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant and diverse city with strong leadership and clear service improvement ambitions.
You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding vulnerable children and achieving positive outcomes through high-quality assessments, direct interventions, and multi-agency collaboration. Working under the guidance of a supportive Team or Deputy Team Manager, you will manage a varied caseload, lead on statutory responsibilities, and be a voice for children and families.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a complex caseload across Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care.
Undertake high-quality single assessments and care planning with robust risk analysis and critical reflection.
Work within the Public Law Outline, prepare court statements, and present evidence in legal proceedings.
Deliver evidence-informed interventions and parenting assessments using best practice tools.
Carry out direct work with children and families and build relationships that support change and resilience.
Chair multi-agency meetings and attend Child Protection Conferences, reviews, and planning meetings.
Conduct statutory visits and maintain accurate, up-to-date case recordings and court-ready reports.
Contribute to timely and effective permanence planning and successful transitions to adulthood.
Promote inclusive, child-centred practice, ensuring children's voices are heard and acted upon.
Essential Requirements
Social Work degree or equivalent Social Work professional qualification Registered with Social Work England
Knowledge of children's legislation and statutory safeguarding frameworks.
Understanding of child development, assessment models, and multi-agency working.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality reports.
Ability to build honest, supportive, and professional relationships with families and colleagues.
Skilled in case recording, IT systems, time management, and prioritisation.
Commitment to professional development, reflective supervision, and the Company values.
Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle / or commitment to obtain within 6 months.
The assessed and supported year in employment (ASYE)
Experience in caring for children and young people is essential for this role.
Desirable Attributes
