We are delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our well-established team of 14 Neonatal ACPs at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) - one of the UK's largest and most respected teaching hospitals.
Working within our Level 2 and level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Units, you'll be a vital part of a multi-professional team providing high-quality, family-centred care to critically ill and premature neonates. As a Qualified ACP, you'll work autonomously and collaboratively to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of complex neonatal conditions, contributing to both the strategic and operational development of neonatal care across the Trust.

As a service we are anticipating funding to support the Maternity and Neonatal Redesign. This will help to fulfil our need for increased capacity and improved environment within Nottingham University Hospitals. There will be many exciting new opportunities for development and learning offered within the MNR project, as part of the ACNP team you will be integral to decision making which will help develop and grow our service.
As we are expanding our team we are inviting candidates who will have excellent up-to-date clinical skills, knowledge and understanding of the needs of the sick neonates and their families. You will also be able to prioritize, use your own initiative, thrive under pressure and manage difficult situations effectively to ensure the provision of excellent patient care within the unit. You will be able to exercise independent judgement in the assessment and diagnosis of neonatal conditions. You will need to establish an appropriate course of action in order to initiate effective treatment and facilitate ongoing medical management of neonatal conditions using agreed protocols and guidelines.
