We are looking for a keen and committed pharmacist with excellent communication skills and clinical pharmacy knowledge to join our expanding pharmacy team. This post will be an exciting challenge for someone who is highly motivated and keen to develop their clinical and professional skills.



We are looking for a pharmacist to support the delivery of the Specialist Mental Health Pharmacist Training Pathway which is being delivered by the University of Bradford and work as a pharmacist in our community mental health teams in Bradford District and Craven.

Main duties of the job



This investment in the future mental health pharmacist workforce contributes to:



Delivering the NHS Long Term Plan's commitment on community mental health transformation



Supporting the creation of new roles in mental health pharmacy



Equipping pharmacists with key skills for the new models of integrated primary and community mental health care for adults and older adults with moderate to severe mental health problems



Developing a specialist pharmacy workforce and NHS leadership



As a Teacher/Practitioner the successful candidate will:



Contribute to the teaching and assessment at undergraduate and postgraduate levels across the School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences for the Specialist Mental Health Pharmacist Training Pathway and MPharm programme



As part of their role with the community mental health teams, the successful candidate will also:



Provide, develop and promote a responsive, patient focused, highly specialised pharmacy service to patients and staff within Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.



Provide direct supervision and training to pharmacy staff, develop and provide training regarding the use of medicines and medicines management principles to clinical staff, non-clinical staff, service users and carers.
