We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Advanced Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Advanced Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners. Your management and leadership skills will help guide our team in delivering high-quality childcare and education, with additional responsibilities such as, coordinating with the nursery Leadership Team to embed WellComm.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support children's emotional and social development.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, communicating effectively with parents regarding their child's achievements.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a harmonious nursery environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to health, safety, and safeguarding.
Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Requirements
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
Strong management and leadership abilities to effectively guide a team of practitioners.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to create an inclusive environment for all children.
Driving licence preferred to facilitate travel between locations if required.
