My Vital Metrics offers a completely unique service, unmatched in the rest of the UK. We perform advanced fitness, body composition and physiological tests, providing this as a service to anyone who wants them. The equipment we use, and the test we perform would previously only have been accessible to professional sports people, in university labs. We firmly believe that everyone can benefit from the tests we do. It can inform a health and fitness plan for everyone from someone who has never exercised or paid attention to their diet who now just wants to lose weight and get healthy, to weekend warriors trying to shave off some time from their 10k. Even professional sportspeople from sports without the heavy financial backing that allows these tests often come in to get themselves tested.
For our consultants, we offer the completely unique opportunity to work with the equipment and perform the tests that you learned about in your Sports Science and Nutrition degrees. We currently offer DEXA Scans, Resting Metabolic Rate Tests, VO2Max and FatMax tests, as well as a 3D body map. Advanced Movement Screens for balance, symmetry, and uniform force production, and even some limited finger-prick blood testing. There are more tests coming as well.
We are a small business, which opened in January of 2020. Having survived the pandemic, we are continuing to grow our customer base. We have an established lab in the City and will soon be opening on Harley Street. We also have a lab in Manchester and a mobile unit which goes to professional sports teams. You will mainly be based between our London facilities.
