Job Title: IT Testing Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient

IT Testing Consultant

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of complex software and IT systems, including AI-driven platforms like the

AI-Based Talent Acquisition Engine

. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in testing methodologies, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver flawless solutions that meet business and technical requirements..

What you'll do

Design and implement comprehensive

test strategies, plans, and cases

to validate system functionality, performance, and security. Execute

manual and automated testing

across multiple environments and platforms. Work closely with developers, business analysts, and IT consultants to identify test requirements and acceptance criteria. Perform

functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

to ensure end-to-end solution quality. Identify, document, and track defects through established bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps). Collaborate with development teams to perform

root cause analysis

and ensure timely issue resolution. Validate

API, database, and data flow

integrity, especially in systems integrating AI models and data pipelines. Support the implementation of

test automation frameworks

using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, or Postman. Ensure compliance with

data protection, security, and performance standards

throughout testing cycles. Prepare

test reports, dashboards, and documentation

for internal review and client presentation.

Preferred qualifications

Knowledge of automation frameworks like JUnit or Cucumber for software testing. Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps. Understanding of scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell for automation tasks. Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for system deployment.

Experience & Skills

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Proven experience in

software testing or quality assurance

, preferably within IT consultancy or enterprise-level projects. Strong understanding of

SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum

methodologies. Hands-on experience with

test management and defect tracking tools

(e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Azure Test Plans).
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 35,000.00-42,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Hounslow TW3 3HW
