Overview

Collins Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) UK facility Marston Green providing specialist technical support with soldering for the Aerospace industry.

Principle Accountabilities:

Solder rework on various electronic engine controllers PCB boards across a wide variety of Marston Green products: Commercial and military products.


Teamwork is essential part of the facility, bias for action and a culture of improving the processes with the help of all technicians is adopted. Openness and hard work are essential tools to success within the card cell department.

Personal Characteristics

Apprentice trained and/or qualified to J Standard or IPC 610 preferred Previous soldering experience. Plated Through hole and surface mount PCB repair experience. Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. Technical knowledge of Printed circuit boards and drawing required.
