An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our evolving Primary Care and Community Services Division. Our nurse-led ward, established nine years ago, continues to grow, with out-of-hours support and a recent expansion to include a CRT admission unit with 7 beds and 1 ambulatory room. This role offers a rotational structure, starting in the nurse-led ward, and provides the chance to work across multiple settings, gaining valuable experience.
This autonomous Band 7 role supports the clinical futures program, aiming to develop integrated practitioners. Key responsibilities include patient assessments, clinical decision-making, and leadership within the multidisciplinary team. The role also involves education and research to promote evidence-based practices.
Ideal candidates should possess a patient assessment qualification, IP and work within the four pillars of advanced practice: clinical practice, leadership, education, and research. A strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work autonomously are essential.
