Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate prescribing Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join Longshore Surgeries for between 4-6 sessions (negotiable) with salary dependant of experience.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and will be responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients with a strong focus on acute presentations.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations. Develop and implement patient care plans based on clinical findings. Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions. Provide education and counselling to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment options. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Stay informed about advancements in medical practices and treatments relevant to patient care.

Requirements

Valid Nurse Practitioner licence in accordance with local regulations. Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience of SystmOne is advantageous.
