Permanent Advanced Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Clinical Practitioner

The Role

We are recruiting a

Permanent Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner (ANP/ACP)

to deliver

same-day urgent care

and

routine appointments

in a full-time clinical role. Immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities

Autonomously assess, diagnose, treat, and discharge/manage patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems See 12-15 patients per session (mix of F2F, telephone, and e-consults) Prescribe independently (essential) and manage acute minor illness, minor injuries, and exacerbations of LTCs Run minor illness/urgent care clinics and support home visiting service Lead medication reviews, care-home ward rounds, and frailty pathways Mentor junior clinicians, supervise physician associates, and contribute to clinical audits/QOF Use

Working Pattern

Full time: 37.5 hours / 9 clinical sessions per week

Flexible days (core hours 8:00am-6:30pm)

No weekend or bank holiday working

30-minute paid lunch daily

1 protected CPD session per month

Salary & Benefits

54,000-58,000 per annum

(Band 8a equivalent, dependent on experience)

Person Specification

MSc Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent) Independent Prescriber (V300) registered with NMC Minimum

3 years post-qualification experience

as ANP/ACP in primary/urgent care Excellent diagnostic and decision-making skills SystmOne proficiency

Desirable

Minor illness/injury qualification Experience in care homes or frailty Teaching/mentorship qualification (PGCert or Practice Assessor)
