About the Role

Dr Laliwala and partners are looking to welcome an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join the team on a permanent basis.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

Assess patients and demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making Independently triage, diagnose, refer, prescribe or discharge patients appropriately Deliver a high standard of patient care and promote a professional, caring and compassionate approach Maintain accurate computerised patient records, using agreed read codes and complete admin relating to the patients you have seen in line with organisational procedures. Provide expert advice to both patients and colleagues Collect data and participate in regular practice audits to help develop the practices plans and improving primary care for our patients.

About you

As a key member of our team of Doctors, Physician Associates, Clinical Pharmacists, First Contact Physiotherapists, Social prescribers, Nurses and HCA'S:

You will be a Registered General Practice Nurse (currently registered with the NMC). You will hold a recognised ANP qualification at Masters level and work as an Independent Nurse Prescriber You will have experience of working in a GP Practice and triaging patients using telephone, online or video consultation. You will work autonomously whilst working within defined procedures and protocols agreed by the GPs. You will be confident in diagnosis and treatment of both acute and chronic issues You will be compassionate and committed to not only delivering care, but also developing new ways of working to meet the health needs of our to our varied practice population Ideally you will have experience of using SystmOne

We are a group of 3 practices, based in Peterborough, over 5 sites with a combined patient list size of just under 16,000. We have a diverse patient population across the sites with varying health needs.
