Vacancy for Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Agenda For Change band 6-8. Salary negotiable, depending on experience.

6 weeks holiday, plus bank holidays.

4 sessions / 2 full days - Thursday and Friday.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated ANP to join our busy GP Practice situated in the sea-side town of Rhyl, with a branch surgery in Dyserth. There are good transport links to the North Wales coast and Snowdonia, with easy access to the vibrant cities of Chester, Liverpool and Manchester.

The ideal candidate will be eager to deliver high quality patient care, using clinical skills and a broad, in-depth, theoretical knowledge base.

You will use your experience to assess, manage and refer independently.

This is an additional role to join our team and work alongside our existing ANP team.

Your role will encompass clinics, minor illness, home visits and assessing a wide range of patients' needs.

You will be expected to be confident in managing face-to-face and telephone appointments and be keen to participate in clinical meetings.

We are a busy, friendly, and hardworking GMS Practice with a list size of around 8200 patients. The clinical team consists of: 1 full-time GP, 3 part-time GP's, 2 full-time ANP's, 1 part-time ANP, 1 Practice Nurse and 1 HCA.

The suitable candidate must be organised, motivated, adaptable, enthusiastic and must be computer literate with the ability to work independently or as part of the team.
