We are seeking skilled ANPs to join our nationwide agency team to provide high-quality, patient-centred care in a variety of urgent and unscheduled care settings.
Role Overview
As an
Advanced Nurse Practitioner
, you will use your autonomous clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat, and discharge patients presenting with a range of minor illnesses and injuries. You'll work alongside multidisciplinary teams delivering urgent care to patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
Provide autonomous assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients presenting to UTCs and MIUs.
Manage minor illness and injury presentations confidently and efficiently.
Prescribe medications in line with your clinical competencies (V300 desirable).
Undertake triage, clinical decision-making, and patient referrals as required.
Ensure safe, evidence-based, and timely care in line with local and national guidelines.
Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of care.
Requirements
Registered Nurse (NMC) with valid PIN.
MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent experience).
Independent Prescriber (V300) - highly desirable.
Minimum 2 years' experience working autonomously in urgent care, primary care, UTC, or MIU settings.
Confident managing both minor illness and minor injury presentations.
Excellent clinical decision-making and communication skills.
