As an ACP/ANP, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients, working autonomously and collaboratively within a supportive clinical team. You will use advanced clinical skills, critical thinking, and decision-making across assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients within your scope of practice.
Take part in service development initiatives and quality improvement projects.
Work in partnership with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Support junior staff and contribute to education, training, and clinical supervision.
Actively participate in audits, research, and service evaluation.
Stay informed about advancements in medical practices and incorporate evidence-based approaches into patient care.
Requirements
Registered with the NMC/HCPC with relevant professional qualification.
MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (or working towards completion).
Independent Prescriber qualification (V300).
Evidence of continuing professional development.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working autonomously in an advanced clinical role.
Proven experience in medication administration and patient care.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
