Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Practitioner Occupational Therapist to join our Community Team across South Nottinghamshire. This an 18.5 hour permanent role based mainly in the South of Nottinghamshire covering Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe.


We are developing our therapy led services and are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to help us shape how we collaborate with people in their communities to provide support in the least intrusive manner possible, by maximising their strengths, assets, and resources.

Our team include Service Advisers, Community Care Officers, Occupational Therapists, and supportive management. We will work alongside our health and social care colleagues, carers, and people with lived experience to deliver a strengths-based approach, achieve outcomes in line with our commitment to improve the equity and opportunities for those needing support.


This is a fabulous opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to progress to a senior role with the support of the other Advanced Occupational Therapy practitioners and Team manager. You will need to be a qualified Occupational Therapist, have current registration with Health and Care Professionals Council and have evidence of continuous professional development, be a practice educator and have supervisory experience. You will have excellent communication skills to effectively support staff and management, to continue to build positive relationships with internal and external partners while delivering high performance.
