You will be Deputy to the Dispensary and Stores Manager, taking responsibility for the daily management of dispensary operations. You will perform accuracy checking responsibilities and support the ongoing development and monitoring of the unlicensed medicines system.



We are looking for someone who is:



A GPhC registered Pharmacy Technician



An Accredited Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) or working towards qualification



Experienced in hospital or community pharmacy



Reporting into the Dispensary & Stores Manager , your responsibilities will include:



Be a Deputy to the Dispensary and Stores Manager



Work as a Designated Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) to ensure safe and accurate supply of medicines



Support the development and monitoring of the unlicensed medicines system



Prepare and manage daily staff rotas, ensuring cover in dispensary and stores



Train, supervise and mentor dispensary and stores staff, including trainee ACTs and dispensers



Ensure workflow is managed to reduce errors and meet turnaround targets



Maintain excellent standards of customer service and contribute to a positive team environment



Participate in audits, service improvements and departmental developments

Please note that Sheffield Children's uplift pay to meet the Real Living Wage, which is 12.60 per hour.
