We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Physiotherapist with a specialist interest in orthopaedics and/or oncology to join our Therapies team at our prestigious Harborne Hospital in Birmingham. Requirements of the role:
This role will involve cover across outpatients as required, and the following wards: intensive care unit, cardiothoracic/cardiology, neurology, orthopaedics and oncology.
The candidate will be required to assess and treat a wide variety of patients with complex clinical presentations and care needs.
The candidate is expected to work with a high level of independence and may include mentoring and supervising junior staff. Student training, in-service teaching, service development/improvement and service promotion would be expected.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team with patients, their families, consultants and external providers to proactively assess, treat and discharge. This includes early identification of complex care needs and liaising with relevant teams.

What you'll bring:
Graduate Diploma or BSc in Physiotherapy
Registration with HCPC
At least 3 years of acute hospital inpatient experience, including ITU and rehabilitation (essential)
Demonstratable experience and special interest in oncology and/or orthopaedics
