About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Advanced Practitioner to join our Children's Services team. This pivotal role involves providing expert guidance, leadership, and support to social workers, ensuring high standards of practice and safeguarding for children and families.
You will manage complex cases, mentor colleagues, and contribute to service development, helping to shape best practice and improve outcomes for vulnerable children.
Key Responsibilities
Lead on complex child protection cases and provide expert advice to colleagues.
Support and mentor social workers, promoting professional development and reflective practice.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and safeguarding legislation.
Contribute to service improvement initiatives and policy development.
Build strong relationships with multi-agency partners to deliver coordinated support.
About You
Qualified Social Worker with current registration (Social Work England).
Significant experience in children's services, including complex casework.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
In-depth knowledge of safeguarding legislation and best practice.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
