We are on the hunt for anAdvanced Practitionerwho can juggle high-level casework,lead reflective supervision, and provide expert guidance to our dynamic team.Youll be the go-to person for complex safeguarding decisions, legal frameworks, and multi-agency coordination.Plus, youll get to play a key role in shaping services, mentoring students, and even championing specialist areas like Section 117 aftercare.
You will be:

  • Gainingthe opportunity tocoach, mentor, and inspirewhether its newly qualified social workers, students, or colleagues in need of a second opinion.
  • Taking on a leadership roleyoull influence practice, represent the team in key meetings, and step up in the absence of the Lead Practitioner.

Main duties of the job
Work independently to hold and manage a varied and complex caseload with supervision and advice from the Lead Practitioner at a level of complexity appropriate to the post holder's experience, and professional capability and be accountable for their professional practice.
Work with individuals, families, carers and communities to help them make informed choices and decisions, enabling them to clarify and express their needs and contribute to service planning.
