Scaffold Builder
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Builder to join our team. The Scaffold Builder will be responsible for constructing and dismantling scaffolding structures at various construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures following safety guidelines
- Ensure scaffolds are plumb, stable, and secure
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble scaffold components
- Work closely with the construction team to provide necessary access for building activities
- Inspect scaffolds regularly for safety compliance
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of scaffold plumbness and stability
- Experience in carpentry, welding, or masonry is advantageous
- Familiarity with electrical work or painting is a plus
- Ability to fabricate scaffold components as needed
Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: 19.08-23.00 per hour
Experience:
Scaffolding: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Driving Licence (required)
Work Location: On the road
