To carry out the daily management, organisation and co-ordination of the workflow of the Pharmacy Support Worker team. To participate in the recruitment, chairing of recruitment panels, appraisals, training, and development of Pharmacy Support Workers ensuring each one has a regular appraisal. To review the Support Worker roles within the Medicines management team, identifying ways in which the role can be developed with ongoing monitoring/audits to support the most effective ways of providing the service to improve patient discharge waits/patient care. Acting as a role model for all SPSW, PSW and PSAs and actively looking at ways to develop them in accordance with patient care/service provision.
