Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experience Paralegal or inhouse barrister to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, good command of the English language, experience in Immigration and asylum law, and a proactive approach to supporting our legal professionals. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our legal services, contributing to case preparation, and maintaining effective communication within the office.

Duties

Assist lawyers in preparing of witness statements, drafting documents, preparation of hearings bundles, and attending the Immigration and Asylum Chamber. Organise and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings. Utilise Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel to create reports, spreadsheets, and other necessary documentation. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to deadlines.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Paralegal in Immigration and Asylum law. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong time management abilities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Basic IT skills to navigate various software applications used within the legal field. A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all documentation and communications.

Pay: 24,000.00-25,000.00 per year
