The Aerodrome Certification Manager supports the Certification & Regulation Manager in ensuring the Aerodrome complies with national and international aviation regulations. This role assists in ensuring that the Aerodrome meets all safety, operational, and technical requirements stipulated by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), and other relevant regulatory bodies. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external authorities to implement policies, procedures, and best practices that align with safety and certification requirements.
Support the aerodrome certification process by ensuring compliance with national regulations and safety standards.
Prepare, review, and maintain documentation, manuals, and guidelines related to aerodrome operations and regulatory compliance.
Liaise with civil aviation authorities, auditors, and stakeholders for certification, inspections, and audits, including maintaining 'Certification Basis' and 'Operations Basis' documentation.
Monitor and interpret regulatory changes and best practices to keep the aerodrome compliant.
Ensure all infrastructure, equipment, and operational procedures meet certification and safety requirements, including aviation fuel operations.
Develop and implement corrective action plans following audits, inspections, or incidents, and support infrastructure upgrades as needed.
Represent the Aerodrome in regulatory meetings and serve as a point of contact for certification-related matters
Minimum of 3 years' experience in aerodrome operations, regulatory compliance, or aviation safety.
Knowledge of CAA 139/2014, ICAO Annex 14, national aviation regulations, and aerodrome certification requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess compliance and operational risks
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proven ability to lead projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage documentation effectively.
