Role Description



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Aesthetics Director

to oversee and elevate our aesthetics offering. This is a leadership role that combines clinical expertise with operational oversight to ensure the highest standards of client care, practitioner support, training, and compliance.

The Aesthetics Director will play a critical role in shaping and protecting the quality, safety, and credibility of our aesthetics services. They will provide expert clinical injectable treatments in-clinic on a limited, scheduled basis; act as the senior clinical point of contact for aesthetics practitioners; oversee compliance; and ensure all treatments are delivered in line with current UK clinical and regulatory standards.

They will provide strong leadership and mentorship to our team of aesthetics practitioners, offering expert guidance and complication support to both clients and practitioners. As part of their remit, they will also manage clinical product procurement, including placing orders for all prescription and non-prescription treatment stock.

Key Responsibilities



Clinical & Client Support



Provide expert injectable treatments in-clinic (part-time basis), ensuring clients receive the highest level of care. Offer

complication management support

to clients and practitioners, ensuring swift and effective resolution. Oversee and implement best practices in clinical procedures, ensuring compliance with

UK regulations and safety protocols

. Maintain and develop clinical policies, treatment pathways, and patient safety standards.

Practitioner Support & Training



Act as the senior clinical

point of contact

for aesthetics practitioners. Provide guidance on treatment planning, suitability, contraindications, and complication management. Set and uphold a clinical '

Pre- standard'

to ensure consistent, safe, evidence-based treatment delivery.

Stock & Equipment Management



Place all prescription and non-prescription product orders for treatment use, ensuring appropriate stock levels and regulatory compliance. Create and oversee a system for the

procurement and management of stock

, ensuring all products and equipment meet safety and regulatory standards. Work with the general manager to create a system to monitor usage and

optimise stock levels

to maintain efficiency and reduce wastage. Work closely with suppliers to source high-quality products at competitive pricing.

Procedure & Compliance Management



Ensure all aesthetic treatments adhere to

UK regulations

, including: General Medical Council (GMC) Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and Medical and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) requirements. Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) compliance for marketing and treatment claims. Keep up to date with legislation, clinical guidance, and regulatory changes. Develop and maintain treatment procedures, consent pathways, and documentation to standardise patient care. Support audit activity, incident reporting, and clinical quality improvement.

Business & Innovation



Monitor clinical and industry advancements to introduce evidence-based treatments to Pre-. Support strategic growth initiatives, including patient retention, treatment mix, and clinical outcomes. Uphold and enhance Pre-'s credibility and reputation within the medical aesthetics sector. Be featured in marketing, social media and on our website to promote the aesthetics department.

Requirements



Must be a

GMC-registered medical docto

r with aesthetics training and relevant clinical experience. Extensive experience (5+ years) in aesthetic injectables (toxins, dermal fillers, skin boosters, etc.). Demonstrable complication management expertise. Strong understanding of clinical governance, stock management, patient safety, and compliance. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Passion for medical aesthetics and continuous professional development.

Compensation Structure



Hourly rate (starting at 100 per hour) will be offered for providing injectable treatments in clinic. This will be in addition to a set monthly retainer for remaining, ongoing duties within this role.
