An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the team at La Marzocco UK & Ireland; we are looking for a new After Sales Manager, an inspiring leader, and experienced engineer of coffee equipment.


The After Sales Manager works closely with our Approved Network of independent engineers, as well as with resellers and in-house technicians helping to build stronger relationships and supporting them in the marketplace. Reporting to the Managing Director, works within the After Sales team to lead in the planning, execution, and optimisation of our partner supporting strategy. This role is busy and demanding, requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure.


Work collaboratively with all departments to capitalise on every opportunity to support existing and new partners, as well as consumers. While building an outstanding product technical knowledge, demonstrate excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background as an engineer, great leadership skills, passion for specialty coffee and understanding of the hospitality industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, and a passion for developing people and relationships.


You will also have a valid UK driving license and a full passport.


This position is available immediately, initially offered on a 6-month probation period.

Job Purpose, Responsibilities and Duties



Working as part of the La Marzocco UK team managing the After Sales function for the UK & Irish markets. Lead and coordinate the After Sales Team agenda. Plan and deliver department's yearly and quarterly roadmaps to all stakeholders. Setting After Sales department goals and managing own team performances. Weekly Departmental Report to MD Provide training on maintenance and use of our equipment. Help co-ordinating events such as the London Coffee Festival, Coffee Road shows and any other event. Management and distribution of Technical Bulletins. Overview Warranty claims procedures. Connect with our Approved Network of independent engineers, as well as with resellers and in-house technicians. Analyse & report on issues and products identified in the field. Provide feedback for product improvement found in the field to the factory. Travelling within the UK and Ireland but also to Italy at times (valid passport and a full UK driving licence a must). Reporting to Managing Director. Training and on road demos/testing of new products. Working closer with our partner Espresso Solution on spare parts, loan stock and in repair. Develop engaging and trustworthy inner & outer relationships for mutual success.

Person Specification




A varied and challenging position for someone who is energised, trustworthy, and hard-working, with excellent leadership, technical, time-management and team working skills. Have a positive attitude with a courteous and helpful approach. Overall, someone who has/is:

2 years minimum technical and electrical experience. Full driving licence. Self-Motivated with Strong Leadership Skills and Team-Oriented, Goal-Oriented with Strong ability to create connection with people. Proactive, time-oriented with a positive can-do attitude. Can think innovatively. High level of leadership and organisational skills. Personable and a strong communicator with great technical abilities and verbal communication skills to be representative of La Marzocco with a sense of fun professionalism. Interest in speciality coffee. Background in a Technical After Sales role at managerial level. Based in London, comfortable to travel to the office as well as cover wider area in the UK and Ireland.
