Job Description

V.I.M Club is seeking a playworker to join our friendly after school club team at a lovely primary school on Shoreham Beach.

We are passionate about providing child led sessions with a choice of activities that are fun and engaging for the children to look forward to rather than an extension of their school day.

Free sessions are provided, if required when you are working for your own primary aged child.



Working Hours:



3 to 6 pm Monday to Friday during term time Occasional shifts available at Breakfast Club Overtime available during school holidays at our Holiday Clubs.

Responsibilities:



Supervise and play with children during sessions. Prepare healthy snacks for the children. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under our care. Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive environment and build relationships with our children and families.

Requirements:



Ideally, the candidate will have education/childcare/playworker training but this is not essential, we would like to find the right candidate and full training will be provided Ability to thrive in play environments and connect with children. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
