Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support to young children. As a club supervisor, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their developmental needs are met while promoting their social and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive and responsive care to children in the Club setting. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote early learning and development. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's needs and progress. Manage daily routines, including meal times and play activities. Ensure the Club environment is clean, safe, and conducive to learning. Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a positive team atmosphere. Support children in developing social skills and independence.

Experience

A background in early childhood education or childcare is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively. Excellent communication skills in welsh, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development. Experience in creating engaging educational activities tailored to children's interests and needs. Nvq 2 in early years or Play work is essential.
