Join Our Monkey Business! After School Club Assistant Wanted!

Role Overview:

As a qualified After School Club Assistant, you'll work alongside our fantastic leadership team to ensure that every child has a blast after school! Your main mission is to help create a vibrant, engaging, and nurturing space where kids can unwind, play, and explore new activities.

What You'll Do:

Set Up & Tidy Up:

Help get the after-school club ready for action each day and put everything back in its place when the fun wraps up.

Bring Ideas to Life:

Share your creative ideas for daily activities and exciting experiences that will spark joy and imagination in our young adventurers.

Be a Playtime Partner:

Dive into the fun! Join in on games, support kids in their activities, and encourage them to try new things.

Outdoor Explorer:

Get outside and promote physical activities--because what's more fun than running around in the fresh air?

Snack Time Champion:

Assist in preparing yummy snacks, sit with the kids during snack time, and help them practice good manners (no flying food allowed!).

Safety First:

Ensure all children are safe and sound, while keeping hygiene standards top-notch.

Team Player:

Work closely with our fabulous team, fostering positive relationships with both kids and parents.

Wrap Around Care:

Help with local nursery and school pickups, ensuring every child has a smooth transition.

What We're Looking For:

A fun-loving, patient individual who understands child development and wants to help kids grow and thrive. Someone who can build positive relationships with children, encouraging their unique personalities and self-esteem. A proactive communicator who respects confidentiality and adheres to all our club's policies (don't worry, we'll guide you!). A team player who celebrates diversity and promotes an inclusive, welcoming environment for everyone. Someone who's physically capable of lifting equipment and kids when necessary (don't worry, we won't be lifting elephants!).

Level 2/3 Qualified Practitioner.

2.30pm - 5.30pm Term Time Monday to Friday
