At Kingwood Children we pride ourselves on being able to offer wrap around care and support to our families once their children move onto school. After a full day at school we offer children the freedom to adventure outdoors and join in with a range of activities and fun. We collect children from Sampford Peverell, Uplowman and Willand Primary Schools, coming together in our outdoor classroom for physical activities and games, campfire cooking, forest crafts, animal care, gardening and lots more. Would you like the flexibility of working these hours and having the rest of the day to yourself or would you like the flexibility of additional hours working with us if required, although not essential.

Specific Accountabilities / Primary Responsibilities:

- Facilitating fun, engaging activities for school age children after school for a short period of time.

- Developing relationships with parents and children, providing a positive end to the day and creating a valuable link between home and school.

- Role modelling high expectations, with a committed and enthusiastic approach, to our children.

- Communication with parents via handovers and direct messages.

- Helping other team members to walk or drive children safely from school, setting boundaries and expectations for behaviour and keeping them safe at all times.

- Supporting mealtimes (all catered for by our chefs), to be a social occasion, enjoying a variety of foods and flavours.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.55 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
