Holmer Green First School and Pre-School is situated on Watchet Lane, in Holmer Green village, nestled on the edge of the Chiltern Hills. One of three state schools in the village, the school serves the local community and has a great community feel.

About the role

Our After School Club is a happy place for children aged 4 years old to 7 years old.



It provides a wide range of enjoyable activities, including craft, sport and cookery.



The Club is held in our school and has access to the library, our school hall and our extensive outside grounds.

About you

We are looking for a happy, confident individual. You need to be able to work as part of a team and be a positive role model, demonstrating professional behaviour at all times. You must enjoy working with children and have lots of energy and ideas! You need to have initiative and be able to work independently, playing with the children throughout the session and interacting with them.



We are looking for an after school club assistant (13.28 per hour) to join the team in October (preferably). Free childcare is available for after school club staff (4-7 year olds only).



The hours are 3.00pm - 6pm, Monday to Friday. You must have experience either working with or caring for children and you must be willing to complete the school's statutory training programme.
