After School Club Assistant

Grade C, 9,028 - 9,192 (depending on length of service)

Part Time - 15 hours per week term time only - Monday to Friday 3.00pm-6.00pm

Fixed Term Contract to 31 August 2026



The Headteacher and Governors of this successful and popular school wish to appoint a highly motivated, caring After School Club Assistant who will put children first and make learning fun. The role would be to assist in supervising children attending our successful Wrap Around Care provision. The successful candidate would help by providing appropriate activities, encouraging co-operation, securing children's safety, monitoring well-being and ensuring good behaviour.

The successful applicant should;


Be inspirational Have an understanding of childrens sensory seeking behaviours Maintain a safe, secure and stimulating play environment, and to assist with developing opportunities which encourage children's social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional development through play Assist in delivering and supervising snack time refreshments. Have high expectations of all pupils Be a committed team member Be committed to professional development Be prepared to make a significant contribution to the wider work of the school Good communication skills


Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August, therefore, if you commence employment part way through the academic year, they will be subject to an equated salary adjustment.
