Days: Monday-Friday Afternoons

Hours: 15 hours per week (after school 3-6pm)

Pay: 13.00 per hour (to be reviewed based on performance)

Location: Cuerden Nursery and Out of School Club.

About the Role

We are looking for a fun, energetic and caring After School Club Assistant to join our team for three afternoons a week. This role is all about creating a safe, welcoming and exciting environment where children can relax, play and explore after a busy school day.

If you love working with children, enjoy getting stuck in with games, crafts and activities, and want to make after school the highlight of their day -- this could be the perfect role for you.

We are proudly attached to but fully independent from Cuerden Church School.

Key Responsibilities

Engage children in fun, creative and age-appropriate activities Help plan and lead games, crafts, outdoor play and group activities Support children with snack time and encourage good routines Create a positive, inclusive and energetic atmosphere Ensure children are safe, happy and well cared for at all times Build warm, supportive relationships with children, parents and the wider team Follow safeguarding, health and safety and setting policies
What We're Looking For

A genuine enthusiasm for working with children A hands-on, proactive attitude -- happy to get involved and lead by example A friendly, positive and reliable team player Good communication skills Experience working with children is desirable but not essential -- the right attitude matters most
