We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable

After School Club Playworker

to join our friendly team. Our club provides a safe, fun and nurturing environment for children aged 4-11 years, following the principles of the

EYFS

and encouraging children's independence, creativity and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome children into the club and help create a safe, supportive and inclusive environment. Plan and supervise engaging play opportunities and activities. Build positive relationships with children, staff and families. Provide healthy snacks and supervise at mealtimes. Follow safeguarding, health & safety, first aid and behaviour policies. Assist with setting up and tidying away equipment.

The Ideal Candidate Will

Enjoy working with children and be passionate about their development. Be friendly, patient and able to work well in a team. Have good communication skills and a positive attitude. Have experience working with children (desirable but not essential - training can be provided). Hold a relevant childcare qualification (Level 2/3) - desirable.
