About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a current or aspiring cook and / or after school club assistant to prepare and cook meals for pupils from Holy Trinity CE Primary School at our after school club The Den, with opportunities to also work hours on a casual contract as an after school club assistant.

Job Details

Salary:

12.45 per hour

Contract Type:

Fixed term with additional casual hours

Working Pattern:

Mon - Thurs 1:30pm - 3:30pm, term time only with potential foradditional hours 3:30pm - 6:15pm

Location:

Holy Trinity CE Primary School, Cuckfield

Interviews:

TBC (Late August / early Sept)

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role you will need to have:


Experience in food preparation and/or working in a kitchen environment. Experience working with children in a professional or voluntary capacity. Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain). Understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, punctual, and flexible in approach. Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
