Job Description

We are looking for a Club Leader in afterschool club in our provision at Whitmore Primary School.

Staff will need to:

Must have experiences in a leadership role.

Must have experience with working with children aged 4 years to 11 years.

Obtain a first aid qualification (Inhouse training).

Be available to work between Monday to Friday, term time only at Whitmore Primary School.

18-22 hours per week, during school term time, between 3.00pm to 6.00pm. You will be leading a team of staff working with you in After school club. Some admin work will also be included, which will be completed from home.



Manage and Lead the team Managing registers and all paperwork when running the provision Communicate with parents and school Plan activities for children of all ages from EYFS to year 6 children. Set up activities before the start of the sessions Collect and drop off children to and from classrooms Participate in the preparation and delivery of club refreshments Lead creative, stimulating and appropriate planned activities as required and lead a team in these activities (eg art, cooking, sports) Monitor child led activities Promote positive behaviour Clear away activities at the end of the sessions, leaving all areas clean and tidy Ensure materials and equipment are kept clean and safe Promote and lead the welfare of children and support the school in safeguarding children by following relevant policies and procedures Adhere to club and school health and safety policies, procedures and rules, taking reasonable care of self and others

This is a term time only position.

Hours: 3.00pm-6.00pm Monday to Friday term time only.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 20 per week
