Afterschool Club Supervisor - Colchester CO3
10 hours per week, Term Time Only Wednesday - Friday, 2:45pm-6:00pm, 15 per hour
The Allstar Community Academy (ACA) is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Afterschool Club Supervisor
(NVQ Level 2+ in Childcare)
to lead our team in delivering exceptional care in our partner primary schools.About the Role
In this position, you will oversee play and leisure activities for children aged 4 to 11 years, ensuring a safe, fun, and stimulating environment. You will also ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements, provide reports as needed, and support staff in delivering engaging activities.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and lead
fun, age-appropriate activities
Assist at mealtimes, encouraging good manners Provideindividualized care
, respecting each child's personality Conductrisk assessments
and report concerns to management MaintainOFSTED standards
and attend staff meetings Stay updated withrelevant training
Carry outadditional duties as required
Qualifications & Skills
Level 2+ in Childcare or equivalent (essential)
Enhanced DBS check required
Experience preferred but not essential Ability to planplay-based activities
supporting children's development Commitment to ensuringchildren's wellbeing and safety
Training courses are provided for professional development.
