Play Manager - Foundation Sports & Play (Bayford Primary School)

Location:

Bayford Primary School, Bayford, Hertfordshire

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 3:15 PM - 5:15 PM (with an additional hour per day for planning each week at 10p/h)

Pay:

12 - 13 per hour (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

Foundation Sports & Play is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and creative

Play Manager

to lead our after-school provision at

Bayford Primary School

. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in a vibrant school setting, ensuring children are safe, engaged, and having fun during after-school hours. We are also able to offer Breakfast Club from 7.30am - 8.50am should the applicant be interested.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the daily after-school club sessions Plan and deliver a variety of play and activity-based experiences, including sports, games, and creative activities Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and positive behaviour of all children attending Build strong relationships with children, parents, and school staff Maintain accurate registers, incident reports, and planning records Promote a nurturing and inclusive environment for all participants

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children in a playwork, childcare, or school setting A fun, energetic, and organised individual who can take initiative Good communication and leadership skills A relevant childcare or playwork qualification is desirable (but not essential) An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
