We are looking for a Play Leader for our After School Club based in Litchard Primary School, Bridgend.

At Simply Out of School we are looking for a fun, friendly, hardworking and reliable member of staff who would like to work in our after school club.
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday
2.45pm - 5.30pm (Term time only)

Playleader Role:
Managing the day-to-day running of the After School Club Preparing snack, drinks, and tea in line with club's Healthy Eating Policy Supervising play opportunities with children. Planning and preparation of craft activities and assisting children with these
Qualifications:
Level 2 or Level 3 in CCLD / CCPLD / Playwork is an advantage
Current First Aid and Food Hygiene Certificates an advantage.
Experience:
Experience with children age 3 - 11 preferred
The successful candidate will be a lively, enthusiastic, self-motivated person who is able to work both as part of a team and on their own initiative. They must be able to get on well with, and respect all children and adults, must be prepared to 'muck-in' with all tasks and must have a good understanding of safety awareness and risk assessment. They must be willing to undergo relevant initial and on-going training and DBS checks.
Two references will be required at interview stage.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 13.50 per hour
