We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to creating a safe, engaging, and fun environment for their development. As a Play Worker, you will be responsible for facilitating play activities, supporting children's social skills, and ensuring their wellbeing during playtime.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement a range of play activities that cater to the interests and developmental needs of children.
Supervise children during playtime to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social interaction and communication skills.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised play environment.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to create an inclusive atmosphere.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in early childhood education.
Skills
Experience working with children is desirable.
Strong management and leadership abilities to guide children effectively during activities.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
A background in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable.
