The Brick Box

is a family run business with a goal to empower young minds through Lego building. We have a static location as well as delivering high quality workshops and after school clubs all across Yorkshire.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing person to deliver our amazing After School Construction Clubs in schools.

We'll provide you with over 20,000 Lego pieces and exciting lesson plans and challenges for you to deliver to our eager builders in primary schools in the Leeds and Castelford areas.

Although no experience is required, we do ask that you have a passion for working with children in a classroom environment and have some knowledge of building Lego.

You must hold a valid UK driving license or be able to get yourself about from school to school with all the Lego pieces.

Due to the nature of the service, we can only offer one hour of work a day and clubs start at school finishing time. Depending on the schools this can be anywhere from 2:30pm-3:30pm. For the right candidate there is an option to pick up extra hours at our HQ sorting LEGO for our Bricklink store but this can be discusses during the interview process.

As you will be working with children we will need to acquire an enhanced DBS check. If you already have one this will speed up the process of getting you started as until that is complete you will be unable to be with the children alone.

There is also scope to develop this part of our business with SEN workshops, homeschooling clubs, treat days and other educational packages. for the right person this is a big opportunity to develop something more than just a job.
