Small Steps Early Years Centre is graded by Ofsted "

" and is based in the centre of West Kirby, Wirral, close to the local beach.

Due to popular demand we are looking for a Breakfast and After School Club Practitioner to join our thriving and expanding Early Years Centre in the heart of West Kirby, working 12 hours a week in the afternoons from 3pm.

Overtime is also available too. Staff receive on going training through our Training Provider and also support day release to college / University for further educational training. Staff discount is offered for child care placed. Uniform supplied DBS will be completed for successful candidates
The successful candidate will support the staff in providing a safe and fun environment for our school aged children before and after their school day. You will be involved in walking the children to and from a local school, communicating with teachers and parents and must have knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding children and young people.

Ideal candidate will be self motivated, enthusiastic and be able to support working with children aged 2-11 years old with in the EYFS to help maintain high quality childcare.

Practitioner's are to work alongside the Management and staff team to ensure that you contribute to the high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care given to children who attend Small Steps. You should be able to work as part of a team and support colleagues. You will need to support the provision of a high quality environment to meet the needs of individual children from differing cultures and religious, backgrounds.
