Job Summary


The Activity Leader is responsible for planning, organising, and leading engaging activities for participants of various age groups. This role requires a dynamic individual who can motivate and educate participants through sports and recreational activities. The Activity Leader will ensure a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive environment while fostering teamwork and personal development.

Duties



Plan and deliver a variety of sports and recreational activities tailored to the interests and abilities of participants. Educate participants on the rules, techniques, and strategies of different sports. Supervise activities to ensure safety and adherence to guidelines. Encourage teamwork, cooperation, and positive social interactions among participants. Provide feedback to participants to help them improve their skills and confidence. Maintain equipment and facilities in good condition, reporting any issues as necessary. Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and other staff members regarding activity schedules and participant progress. Assist in the evaluation of programmes to enhance future activity offerings.

Requirements



Previous experience in sports coaching or leading recreational activities is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate individuals of all ages. A passion for educating others about sports and promoting an active lifestyle. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Hold an up to date safeguarding certificate (training available) Hold a valid first aid certificate (training available) Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate various activity schedules.

Session availability everyday Monday to Friday with the either of the following time schedules;



3:10pm to 4:10pm

3:20pm to 4:20pm

3:15pm to 4:15pm

3:30pm to 4:30pm

Pay: 13.85-25.00 per hour
