About the role





The role of the After school club support worker is to help the Play leader run the day to day organisation of the club by providing high standards of care and play opportunities for children between the ages of 4-11 years old in a safe and secure environment.




Duties & Responsibilities, to support the Play leader in:

day to day organisation of the After School Club. preparing and organising a variety of activities for the children. maintaining registers and payments. creating a safe, welcoming and friendly environment delivering high quality creative play opportunities embracing each child's individual needs, unique qualities and personalities. ensuring appropriate planning is in place to maintain the required standards, ensuring that the relevant equipment and resources are available, consulting with the Management Team when necessary. monitoring and evaluate the quality of the service. supervising the children throughout the session ensuring that ratios are adhered to at all times. ensuring that children are kept safe and that staff members understand and follow safeguarding procedures at Oakridge School.

About you





We want to employ someone who has excellent organisational skills and is able to support and assist the afterschool club. We require someone with a passion for striving for inclusive environments which meets the needs of all children, regardless of social, culture, religion or beliefs.
